Faxon is not a good barrel company IMO. Granted it's a sample size of 2 but still both bad barrels. I like criterion as a first choice these days and my daniel defense barrels have always been accurate and long lasting. Wouldn't hesitate to buy a barrel that fits your needs from either 1:8 twist on everything for me.Nov 25, 2015 · GUNSTOCK 2023 - (DFW Range Event!) NOTE, no need for an adjustable gas block for 300blk, so save some money, don't avoid the BA barrels with pinned gas blocks thinking you'd have to swap it out. I'd go with the 1:8 if you might use it with fast light rounds.

Also, longer barrel length is not correlated to mechanical accuracy. Post a 5x5 showing <moa from a BA 5.56/.223 barrel, or retract your statement. They're similar, but BA has the insurance plan in case you get defects.
