Your adding 6 gal of fuel with a quart of oil made roughly a 25:1 mix. Add that fat mixture to another 12 gal of 50:1 might average out to about 37:1 total. MODEL YEAR CHART. Mercury did not publish model year information for 1997 & newer outboards. The year is now normally noted on the serial number sticker. NOTE: Mercury DOES NOT Use Model Years For Parts Lookup.
